Good afternoon, you have arrived in South Australia. The total population of South Australia is approximately 1,459,600. Up until 2008, South Australia's license plates proudly proclaimed that SA was The Festival State.

We will be staying in the capital city, Adelaide, to determine if it is in deed a Festival City. Adelaide, the capital, has 1,067,300 people, or 73 per cent of the state's total population.

During our stay here, we will be touring the Festival Center. The center provides space for statewide festivals including theaters and other venues. We will be watching a musical performance called “A Boy from OZ.”
